Core Values

What are your core values?

Our core values influence everything about our lives and how we live, even if we are not consciously aware of them.

Identifying which of our core values are of greatest importance to us, is crucial if we are to keep your anxiety levels low and our sense of self-awareness high.

In this time of change and worry it is more important than ever that you take some time to consider what your core values are and how you can live your life in line with them.  When your behaviours are not in line with your core values your life will be unnecessarily difficult.

Take some time over the next week to discover and name your core values.  Try answering these few short questions as a starting point…

  • What is most important to you in a relationship?
  • What is most important to you in/from work?
  • What do you need from social interactions?
  • What do you want most for your future?

Our values and our priorities are different in different contexts and will change over time, this is an exercise that you can do over and over again to make sure that you are living in line with your core values.
